Ghana’s biggest and most prestigious music awards scheme, Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) calls for entries for its 21st edition. The organizers of the awards scheme, CharterHouse Ghana officially made this public via their social media handles as well as that of the scheme.
They announced that the awards season is due and they have officially opened for entries into the 2020 edition. Moreover, they, therefore, entreated artistes to start filing for nominations.
Also, the theme for this 21st edition of the VGMAs is reported to be, ‘Music First” and “Believe In Music”

However, as they get ready to roll out the next edition, there has been no update on the incidents that disrupted last year’s edition. Particularly, the ban placed on award-winning dancehall acts, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy has not been lifted yet. And there was no official update on that incident involving the two top crooners.
