Video of Nana Addo being shamefully hooted at Kumasi Central Market.
The President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo was in Kumasi, the capital of the Ashanti Region. He was in the region to commission one of the hospitals under his Agenda 111 among other things.
Though the Region is Nana Addo’s political party, NPP’s stronghold, he faced exactly what happened at the recent Global Citizen Festival. The sitting President was disgracefully hooted at when he came on stage to deliver a speech at the global music event held at the Independence Square.

Thus, Nana Addo was again disgraced by the people of Kumasi, precisely at Kejetia in the Kumasi Central Market. The market folks and pedestrians at Kumasi hooted at Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as he made his way through the market. His convoy was moving from Adum through the Kejetia stretch to the Manhyia Palace.
However, the people standing by the road kept hooting at him as he moved instead of cheering him on. A video of the embarrassing incident is currently going viral on social media.
