The 21st edition of Ghana’s biggest music night, Vodafone Ghana Music Awards(VGMA) has kickstarted its long-awaited two-day awards night for 2020 dubbed the VGMA weekend. Tonight we just finished witnessing the day 1, awaiting day 2 tomorrow, which happens to be the grand climaxing of the awards.

The show was held virtually this year with no public attendance due to the Covid-19 pandemic. However, some personalities in the Ghanaian showbiz industry were the only ones allowed to be in attendance. gave you the live updates of everything that happened tonight, thus from performances to the list of award winners and we also gave you the chance to watch the show live right here. Meanwhile, the night was hosted by Giovanni Caleb and Sika Osei. Performances were seen from Strongman, Ras Kuuku, Eno Barony, Quamina MP, Fameye, Kelvyn Boy, Kofi Mole and KK Fosu. 13 awards were presented on the day 1.
