What Michael Abuah did is unwise – Stephen Abban, KNUST Obuasi SRC president.

The incumbent SRC President of KNUST, Michael Abuah took swipes at Stephen Abban earlier this year. Michael Abuah in a series of tweets lashed out at the KNUST Obuasi SRC President over SRC funds issues. He further continued the backlash on KNUST campus-based radio station, Focus FM.

The latter’s rants suggested that Stephen Abban took a decision that was costing the KNUST Obuasi campus a great deal of financial support. According to Michael Abuah, the new KNUST campus would have enjoyed a lot of benefits had it not been for that decision taken by its SRC President.

However, Stephan Abban in reaction to Michael Abuah’s claims opened up on the nitty-gritty of the issues. In an interview on The Tek Convo, Stephan Abban noted that Michael Abuah was deliberately distorting the facts of the matter.

According to Stephen Abban, there is no such detrimental decision taken by him. The only decision taken regarding SRC funds was collectively taken by all SRC, college, and departmental executives of the campus.

Thus, that was when the KNUST Dean of Students of KNUST alongside Michael Abuah paid an all-important visit to the KNUST Obuasi campus. During the meeting, the two parties came to a consensus on the disbursement of the KNUST Obuasi funds.
