The maiden edition of the Ghana Music Awards (GMA) USA was held yesterday in the Atlantic City, New Jersey, USA.
The night was hosted by Flipman and saw performances from Keche, Fameye, Comedian Waris, Archipalago, Stella Seal, Hertie Corgie, and Nathaniel Pryce.

The biggest winner for the night was Sarkodie, he won 4 awards including the biggest award for the night, Artiste of the Year. Other big winners were Kofi Kinaata, who won 3 awards Stonebwoy and Diana Hamilton, who both won two.
Sarkodie won among his 4 wins, the Hip-Hop/Hip-Life artist of the year, Hip-Hop/Hip-Life song of the year, Best Collaboration of the Year with ‘Saara‘ as well as the Artiste of the Year. Moreover, he also received credit for his song, ‘Saara’ which won Efya the Female vocalist of the year award.
