The subject of police brutality has become the most talked-about issue in Africa today. As Nigeria launch daily protests to fight against SARS and ultimately police brutality, Africa and the world have also added their voices to fight.
Though Stonebwoy has already added his voice to the fight like many other celebrities around the world, his recent tweet on the matter is so heartbreaking. The Dancehall BET Award-winner recounted his heart-wrenching police car-induced accident, which ever since then rendered him disabled on the knee.
Thus, Stonebwoy stated in the tweet that he could never forget that it was a police car[a Jeep] that ran into his family’s car, leaving him with a knee disability. He sadly added that ever since then, when he was just 14, he has been living with implants.
However, as if the police causing his knee disability was not enough, the said police personnel never took responsibility of their actions, Stonebwoy disappointingly added.

Ending his tweet, he then stressed the need for the Police Force to compensate victims for the lives lost and the bodies disabled as a result of their operations.
Meanwhile, Stonebwoy made the tweet in cognisance of his support in ending police brutality, as it is currently being fought for in Nigeria. He tweeted:
