After the long wait for the 22nd Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, Charterhouse is thrilled to announce the date for the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards(VGMA) 2021.
Organizers and partners have settled on Friday 25th and Saturday 26th June as the date for the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards Festival Weekend.

Unlike last year, when due to the peculiarity of that year as a result of COVID-19, where some notable events within the festival could not be held. Key amongst which were the Nominees Jam and the Celebrations Jam. This year is going to be completely different.
The calendar thus begins with the big conversation on who wins what, on the Road To #VGMA22 with Sika Osei, showing TV3 and online on Facebook – Charterhouse Ghana. The show features seasoned industry pundits in category discussions, analysis, and predictions. This has already begun.

The 8th edition of the VGMA Unsung follows with a pre-produced concert which will be shown on TV3 for public voting and participation. This year, eight (8) promising acts were selected from countless thousands of social media submissions – Adelaide De Seer, Kwame Yogot, Nanky, QueenDalyn, Naana Blu, Koby Tuesday, Osei Sikanii, and Malcolm Nuna. These are young, talented, and ambitious musicians who are ready to go all out to win a performance slot on GH music’s biggest night.
The VGMA Festival Weekend
The festival will be climaxed with a two-day awards weekend on Friday 25th and Saturday 26th June, for Industry Awards and Public Awards respectively. There will be PUBLIC ATTENDANCE and the event will be produced for broadcast on TV and Digital platforms. It will feature some of the best performances from chart-topping artistes and will be broadcasted on TV3, DStv and streamed on social media pages of Ghana Music Awards (Facebook) and Charterhouse Live (YouTube).
