Beyonce beats Adele in first part of Beyonce Versus Adele battle.
This year, one of the most anticipated battles in the entertainment space is the Adele versus Beyonce musical battle. The Versus was much expected since the two have been competing at those levels over the years.
In one of these battles, Adele nearly broke Beyonce’s record of the most GRAMMY Awards won by a female artist in one night. This was after Beyonce won 6 awards at the 2010 GRAMMYs. Just two years down the line, Adele also won 6 awards at the 2012 GRAMMYs.
Well, Adele did not exactly break Beyonce’s record, she rather matched it. They now share the same record at the GRAMMYs. This year, they compete again in the 2023 Grammy Awards in an attempt to break the tie.
The musical battle was born out of the fact that both Beyonce and Adele released an album this year. Therefore, the battle line was drawn for the two as they compete for the most nominations and wins at the 65th GRAMMYs.
However, Beyonce beats Adele in the first part of the Beyonce Versus Adele challenge. Beyonce had 9 nominations at the Grammy Awards 2023, whiles Adele got 7. The full list of Grammy Awards 2023 nominations was just released.
In view of this, Beyonce won the first part of the musical battle. The next part is the most Grammy Award wins in a night. This can only be ascertained after the 65th Grammy Awards night on February 5, 2023.
Meanwhile, the two global music icons, Beyonce and Adele released ‘Renaissance’ and ’30’ respectively this year. Both albums are now competing for the Album Of The Year award at the GRAMMYs. Also, they compete in the Record Of The Year and Song Of The Year categories.
The winner of the Beyonce Versus Adele musical battle would be the one who wins the most awards at the 2023 Grammy Awards night. Keep your fingers crossed.
