Funny Face rubbishes Adebayor’s unfollowing him on Instagram rejoicers “You can't make me go back to depression”

When he broke the news yesterday about his long time best friend, Adebayor unfollowing him on Instagram, he sounded so saddened. He even rendered an apology to Adebayor, Bola Ray, and Fada Dickson for turning a deaf ear on their advice. It was evident he did that out of remorse for all that had happened in his life in recent times and the manner in which he sought to address them.

Funny Face revealed that, during his family and friends induced depression period, he was advised by the likes of Adebayor to take hold of his emotions. The advice he admitted, he did not really heed to. Which has now put him on the verge of losing his best friend, Adebayor. Funny Face made this known in a post he made yesterday.

However, following the numerous reactions to what he disclosed, he then decided to respond. According to him, people are now trying to make him a laughing stock, for ‘losing’ the one friendship he cherishes so much.

This act, he bemoaned was totally out of place. The reason being that: the fact that Adebayor unfollowed him on Instagram does not necessarily mean he has permanently cut ties with him. Besides, before social media, they were friends, so how can social media now be the measure for determining whether they are still friends or not. However, he admitted unfollowing him might just be a way Adebayor is using to teach him [Funny Face] a lesson that erred in his actions.

Moreover, Funny face further disclosed that he could always call Adebayor so they can sort things out. Because their friendship is ‘for life’. Besides, it is on his account that some Ghanaians sought to tarnish Adebayor’s image, calling him gay. In addition, he stated that all those rejoicing and making fun of him over this, can not make him return to his state of depression.

Funny Face made this known in a video he posted earlier today. Meanwhile, he has been very good friends with the iconic Togolese footballer, Emmanuel Adebayor for nearly two decades now.
