However, to the utmost surprise of many, she has left UTV and joined Media General’s Onua TV and Onua FM. Shocking as the news may be, there is a story to it and the actress tells it all in an interview with Johnnie Hughes on 3 FM.

Nana Ama McBrown reveals she left UTV because her former bosses ignored. She narrates she requested for a hiatus last December and a review of her job, but her bosses did not mind her. Thus, she particularly asked them for a break from hosting United Showbiz whiles they think of something new for her, but they ignored.

This, she says informed her bold decision to move on with Media General and she is very happy s he did. Thus, besides, she has no contract with Despite Media that permanently binds her to them.

Moreover, detailing how Media General poached her from UTV, Nana Ama McBrown revealed she first got a call from them earlier last month, in February. Despite ignoring their juicy offer, she kept praying about it for about a month before deciding to take it.

She then resigned from UTV and joined Media General to host Onua Maakye, Onua TV’s morning show. The team at Onua TV  and Onua FM welcomed the top celebrated actress in a grand ceremony yesterday.
