Christian Atsu’s wife pregnant as he is laid to rest today.
Iconic Ghanaian International footballer, Christian Atsu goes home today. Today is the burial of the Ghana Blackstar winger who tragically died during the recent earthquake in Turkey.
As his funeral went on and his mortal remains was being prepared to be laid to rest, his tributes began pouring in. The Ghana Blackstar player is getting countless tributes from his former teammates and friends, his family, and all his other numerous loved ones.
The most topical among the sea of heartwarming tributes is that of Christian Atsu wife’s and children. His wife and children who are currently in Ghana for the funeral expressed the deepest grief his death brought them and their only consolation now.
Moreover, their heartfelt tributes also suggested Christian Atsu’s wife is pregnant as it had a picture of her baby bump. Although that is not proof enough as the photo may have been taken long ago, a statement in the wife’s tribute subtlely suggested the same. She wrote:
“You are never really gone as part of you is within them.”

Meanwhile, Christian Atsu was given a state funeral in honor of his legacy and contributions to Ghana’s football. The funeral was held at the forecourt of the State House, Accra. In attendance was the President of Ghana, H.E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Former President John Dramani Mahama, and other government officials.
